Big Change
I just want everyone to know that i am currently blogging from a beach house on fire island. Not having a day job is AUSOME.
About that day job... Last friday was my last day as the product photographer for Kidrobot. I worked there for over 3 years! Although I will miss seeing all my wonderful friends and co-workers everyday, I'm looking forward to working WITH Kidrobot as an artist.
Cheers!

Back in america!
Anyway i had a really great trip. The Custom Kicks sneaker event was really fun and i got to meet artists from all over europe.
Amsterdam is a beautiful city and i took lots of pictures and then left my camera on the air plane. Surprisingly, I'm not that upset over it. Maybe its because i want a new camera, but i am dissapointed about loosing all the pictures from the Custom Kicks event, St. Bavo's Church, and the tattoo artist i traded my chrome messenger bag for a new tattoo.
As for the sneaker event, Luckily some of the other artists have posted pictures on thier flickr pages! (The photo above is from philipp) yay! And coming soon there should be some sick video coverage.
Check it:

And heres a youtube clip!
Thoughts:
Freedom rides a bicycle
I really like traveling alone. There were a few times when i felt like people thought i was weird having a beer in cafe alone, but whatever. And there were a few things i would of done if i had a friend with me. I felt way to silly to do the erotic museum alone.
Sketch diaries
I want to do a bicycle tour of europe. Maybe just France and Italy.
I traded my messenger bag for a tattoo!
Half the time i felt like i was on another planet.
Van Gogh is kinda lame

Everything is still hazy...
I'm excited to move out of my kitchen and into the gowanus studios next month! Check out thier website. I'm really excited to be a part of thier organization. Plus i think i belong on the gowanus canal.
I'm finally starting to feel caught up on life, and overwhelmed by it at the same time. I still have to get going on the cake toppers for my bff's wedding.....

New Paintings, I Am Plastic, and general life update
I have two new paintings up at the Aiden Savoy Gallery through December 9th. Its a really great show and for a good cause.

The Aiden Savoy Gallery is located at 175 Stanton Street, New York, NY
You can check out a review of 'A piece Apart' on CultureCatch.com
I've forgotten to mention that the debatable Beasts have a double page spread in Kidrobot's 'I Am Plastic'! (Also, I am not credited, but I did take some of the pictures in that book.) Its pretty awesome. You can pick up a copy at www.Kidrobot.com
...In other news: As you can see from my last post I was apartmentless and couch surfed for a month, but now I am happily settled in Greenpoint, which I love. I moved in with my friend, Mr. Bankshot! of Bankshot! Records, and I have a huge kitchen, tin ceilings, and a nice bodega grocery where I can get fresh perogis 24 hours a day.
So for the month of October, blame 'settling in' on the lack of updates, November I was just a little lazy, but December is here and I have made a resolution to update this blog at least once a week. I'm doing a big website update with all the new paintings and a lot of inked things that are not up there.
I'm working on a banner for this bloggy blog. Does anyone know of a good blog editor? The look of this blog is pretty boring.
Also I want to make some prints of something. I might just make something new or pick something recent. I'm thinking the rocket fingers piece would make a nice print. Any input is appreciated.
I'm working on some new mini comics!
I'm trying to buckle down and really produce some stuff so check back soon!
